Microsoft had organized the Microsoft BizSpark Startup Challenge 2012<\/strong> on Wednesday June 6, 2012 at Hotel Royal Orchid. \u00a0Denisys Technologies<\/a> also\u00a0attended\u00a0the event and the glimpses from the event are as follows.\u00a0There were a total of 16 startup companies that were shortlisted for presenting their innovating products that has used technology solutions.<\/p>\n

The event began by Mr. Joseph Landes, General Manager of Microsoft India who shared his experience of starting his career in Microsoft way back in 1995 after he graduated from his university. Followed by Mr. Sharad Sharma, Executive Council Member, NASSCOM who also shared his thoughts about the technological innovation.<\/p>\n

Nine companies were selected under the category of Cloud based and seven under Mobile based technology. The innovative ideas and presentations of software were presented in excellence from the companies. The startups belonged to wide range of sectors from education to agriculture to spiritual to entertainment.<\/p>\n

The winners of cloud and mobile technologies were Aurus Networks and NowFloats respectively. The runners prize was bagged by CiperGraph and VDime.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sanket Akerkar, Managing Director of Microsoft India presented a demo of glimpse to future which enabled us to imagine and visualize the future of technology on our lives. The future technology promises to have transformation, reach big\/bold goals, empower everyone, challenge convention and finally change the world through technology.<\/p>\n

The event ended with Vote of thanks from Mr. Meetul Patel, General Manager, Microsoft India who was also one of the judges in this event.<\/p>\n

Microsoft BizSpark<\/strong> has helped the startup companies who have high potential and who has applied technological solutions to unexplored areas. The final shortlisted 16 companies had indeed showcased innovative products that could impact the market and attract business profits.<\/p>\n
